  Well, that helps.  :)  Our ounce is 2 Tablespoons which I found is 30ml. 
Which makes for a .47L pint.
Are you talking grams of water in a fluid oz (ml) or weight?
  Wasn't taxation how you got all those small bore, long stroke engines?  
I'd heard that a tax was passed on the bore diameter of an engine so to 
make bigger engines manufactureres started stroking them to keep the 
tax down.
