[Vwdiesel] Filling pre '87 transmissions...Miser stylee

Why not just do what I do.   After you drain all the remaining old oil 
in the trans, Jack up the left front side of the car, remove front 
wheel, remove filler plug and then pump in 2 quarts of Redline.  If it 
starts to come out before you have 2 quarts in then jack the car up a 
bit more an slow down.  You will get all the fluid in.  Replace the 
plug, replace the wheel and put it on the ground.  I do it this way 
because I have had too much trouble with the speedocable seal  and the 
gear.  hayden

(1), New Beetle (1), and Rabbit Pickups (3) most now gone but not 
forgotten.
