problem is as you said before - most of us have
rabbits or jettas where you'd have to lift up the
whole back end of the car to make up that twist.
jacking up the one wheel will make do since that's
where the fill plug is, but it definitely does not put
the tranny on the level. i think on my one audi diesel
what you were talking about would work perfectly,
since the engine and tranny are not transverse.

i think that's true, just from where the fill plug
sits on trannies - about half way from memory.
