Matt,
How the heck do you balance a 5 cylinder engine in the first place?? Now
that's a CONCEPT! ;) I've never actually seen a five cylinder engine
although I know Detroit made a two stroke 3-71 D (the 2-71 apparently didn't
make enough noise). ;).
If you need fuel economy of a diesel but more power than a four why not go
with a small V-6D or V-8D from a truck? It will be shorter than a 5
cylinder inline I'd think so should fit a car made for a five.
Or is this engine a V-5 ? ;)
