[Vwdiesel] New engine

I was under the impression from the diagram and writeup that they were
increasing the incoming air pressure by heating it with waste exhaust heat,
hence the heat exchanger. What I was getting at, you would need to heat the
air in chunks, so it could be introduced, heated, expelled, etc etc, kind of
like a piston engine does. The diagram makes little sense really.

Preheating will not increase the energy from the compressed
air, except
by the energy spent in heating. -Val
Val this is what I thought; I'm thinking an exhaust powered
compressor would be better. Just didn't want to look
stupid[er than my usual zany self] I need to appear to know
what I'm talking about (8^D)
