[Vwdiesel] update- Painted my Golf 2day-what NOT to do

If you use a roller you don't have to mask as much, or at all, saving
materials and time. I use a piece of file folder cardboard as a mobile
mask.

I painted my very best of all of 'em street rod, a 1970 Chevelle with a
blown 350 (6-71 stuffer) with a roller and Federal Safety Yellow from
Rustoleum. That car won a bunch of trophies in car shows around Ohio in the
early 90's. The day after painting I had pulled into a hardware store
parking lot and my car had that just painted odor in the hot sun. A fellow
hot rod enthusiast pulled in to the lot and parked his custom wheels nearby
. With interest he asked while looking over my paint job if "I had clear
coated it?". I replied honest to god, "No, I only had one roller!" ;)
S'true!

Rob
