Bingo! I did something right. Only got one copy of this message.

Now, if I only get one copy of messages from other people, it is back to 
normal.

Hope somebody is still awake out there and able to post.

Related diesel content: Ohio just transitioned from fall to winter 
today.... temps below 32, moisture shows up as snow and sleet....same stuff 
yesterday was just wet roads.

I have 4 new Nokian WR's on my 85 Jetta TD this year. I could only get them 
in the old Hakka tread design, so that's what is there.  The large sizes of 
the WR this year are offered in a new arrow-shaped tread design, which 
looks cool and is probably quieter.  But, I'll run these for a few years 
and see what happens. Dealer sez it is the same special cold weather 
compound that the bigger WR's use, so the colder it gets the better they 
bite. Hope he is right.
