Put it together, get a friend with a truck and a pair of walkie-talkies, tow
it a few miles at 25-30mph.

1..4th gear only (towing in 5th will strip the fifth gear in the tranny)
Eventually it will start
2. Key on, solenoid on.
3..cold start lever out.
4..Do NOT press the acc. pedal, let it start and run at fast idle before
goosing it, to let the oil replace the fuel in the cylinders.

When you start to catch up with the truck, you'll know its running.

If you got a long enough road, it will start at -40

There is oil in the crankcase??

You have washed down the cylinders with unburned fuel, = no compression = no
start, esp cold.

I remember my old mercedes 200D (68) only way to start at 20 below
