For   Ferguson and ALL :  (et Al ? ) :

Fastest and most important test  I ever heard of. ---   The flyboy explanation again. I
know a lot of Helicopter  instructors that would rather teach  a  0 hour guy  --than a 20
000 hour fixed wing flyer.. Likewise I would rather help , a student nurse (say
emale?)  --than an Old amerikan   auto mechanic  (gas jockey )  - eh   sort out troubles
with a Rabbit diesel. ----Old habit's die slow.

Gasoline engines  and diesels behave that much different..---yes I had the BEST   gasoline
mechanic in town troubleshoot a diesel of mine. (years ago). After that costly FIASCO---I
headed for  library..---and here I am in 2005 ---a  self-made  diesel Doctor. No not a
wizard  at Hogwarts just yet ----but I am making PROGRESS.

If the fuel FLOW is not proper ?  --all the rest is a waste of time. or if you are agasser
waste of TIMING..

FLOW ?   yes   a lot of things affect the flow  --so we have to find the problem. Dirty
screen in Tank ?   airleaks in lines (Old Rabbits rust)    Main filter ---then we are at
the PUMP.

Next time I shall explain  flow in details.
