[Vwdiesel] Cold weather survival, was: Starting a Cold Rabbit

I am a bit confused.  Are you supposed to pour kerosene or diesel liquid
fuel into the can containing the steel wool, or just burn the steel wool by
itself?  I can't see that working so well without adding some liquid
petroleum fuel.  Steel wool comes in coarse to very fine (#0000) strand
diameter.  What kind is to be used here?  I can think that #0000 would make
a pretty good wick.

Sorry guys I am senile so I remember people by certain associations   ----Entire state is
slater (big apple)  and  --area 31 is GREAT BIG    Nikola Tesla coils.

Explation :    if you have to start START a fire ---thats where it is at.  ---any fuel
will do you got Magnesium wheels like Bunny Bondo ?   and a lot of flying machines ?  If
you have to save your brood ?   burn the tires and the seats  ----hell I know apartment
dwellers  in Eropa  during WAR # 2 ---who burned the brand new Oak dining room table (not
even paid for)----this is about SURVIVAL. --good fuel ?   rad hoses ---Timing
belts ---rubber around doors ?  ---got it ?   good ---you will survive.----and save your
brood.---BUT what really gets my goat ?   ---a whole Boy Scout unit  perish  near Toronto
Kanada----BOY-SCOUTS ?.---does anyone here know about that one ?---- please let me know.

PS :    winter of  1945-1946   --I used a Hitler wonderstove to keep warm  (relative).
Volkes stove ? NO a Wehmacht Stove.? yes  .--for Stalingrad..
