That's still air in the system making it hunt- the fuel pressure internal to
the pump fluctuates when it's full of foam, effecting the injected quantity
and advance. Get the revs up for a while, and the air will clear itself
out, unless there is a leak where it's sucking air. Check filter and
connections etc..

Hi all,
Just came in from running it! YEAH! Finally got her running, but she
wouldn't idle at all at first, and at the end of the warmup, she'd idle but
was hunting all over the place. So, thinking maybe dirty diesel filter now?
What sounds like the fix for this? I'd think running it for 10 minutes
would have been enough to get all the air out but I suppose that's a
possibility too?
