[Vwdiesel] Thermo Switch-Thermostat

Does someone have the part number for the correct Thermo Switch for a 1984
Jetta TD?  My parts supplier lists two different ones.  Also, can someone
verify if the 
80*C Thermostat is correct for this application.  Thanks for any help.


  That works to 176F.  A little cool IMO.  The thermoswitch depends on 
the stat.  They have different on/off temps for each stat.  I THINK an 87 
is what is called for.
