I wasn't implying a net increase in CO2 but certainly a miniscule decrease
is possible if not even an increase maybe???
Ask any aquarium owner who made the mistake of too many plants and
not enough light. They wake up to dead fish from suffocation. The plants
convert to using O2 during times of not enough light. The plants get gangly,
fish do poorly, lots of decaying matter, more methane. Not a pretty
picture if you're a greenhouse effect purist. It wasn't until I was doing a
lot of reading up on aquarium problems that I FIRST read ANYTHING about
plants producing CO2 and certainly using enough O2 to kill.
