Suggestions on the transmission jobs?

Run of the mill floor jack with at least five inch saddle is my favorite. Flat, smooth surface to roll jack. Plywood patch to protect pan on automatic trans. Find fulcrum; range of motion, low operating height, and wiggliness are advantageous during install. IMHO
