[Vwdiesel] DIESEL RABBIT SIGHTINGS (was rabbit droppings #145)

Funny we should have this thread. Just last Saturday evening, my son and I
were following a Rabbit-looking like car in a snow squall. He commented that
there's no way it would be a diesel, as there were so few of them. I
differed, and said that I could smell that it was a diesel. It was 1/2 mile ahead
of us, and there was pretty heavy snow and probably 15F temps.
As we approached the light in Pavilion NY, it made a right hand turn, and we
both spotted the "diesel" on the back trim. From my perspective, in the
snow, at night, it appeared to be be in good condition. The smell was of
a healthy engine. The sick, high blow-by ones have more of an scrid smell.
They were a fun car, and it was a fun time. In my youth, I found Miami Blue
and attractive color. We'll stop there...
