[Vwdiesel] Diesel Rabbit sightings

THere has been a real increase in the number of diesel cars on the road in
the last year around here (East Central Saskatchewan)  Used to see an
occasional old rabbit, or A2 Jetta, but lately, the number of tdi's has
really jumped.  LOTS of Jetta Mk4's and NB's, even a few Golf tdi's.  We
still have the only Passat TDI I've seen around.  I know in 97 there were
twelve Passat tdi's sold in Saskatchewan.  If you wanted one, you had to
know the owner and wait until he was ready to sell it, or look out of
province. Made of gold, like that rabbit, but with platinum mudguards, and a
diamond studded windshield washer tank when it came time to buy one.

Diesel prices here are a tad higher... 3.23CDN at the pump for 3.8 litres or
one US gallon.

    A Rabbit D I didn't know about just showed up in the paper, but
owner thinks it's made of gold.
    In the last two weeks, I've seen 4 tdi's I've never seen before,
one a Passat- this in a town of 30k souls.
    Diesel has been hovering between $2.03 and $2.11, depending on the
vendor.
