Nope, cam can stay in for head removal. TD can keep the manifolds
and turbo but NA would require removing the manifolds or pulling a
couple mounts to rotate the engine. In my A2 Jetta the head comes
and Dad's pickup the head comes off pretty easily (both TD) but
in the Rabbit I nearly have to pull the engine to get clearance. Just
about as easy as pulling the manifolds in the car (NA).
