I do see a fair number of older diesels. I guy with a 97 Passat TDI got me
interested in the TDI. I don't know why diesel is suddenly 10-15 cents
higher than it was 2 weeks ago here. We also have some screwy tax
difference..you pay more if you fill from the semi truck islands than going
to the car fuel pumps.
Lots more diesel Ford and Dodge diesel pickups than anything else around
here.

Kelly,
Do you see very many older vw diesels in your area? To me your in the prime
place in the world to find an older vehicle in awesome shape, no humidity,
basically rust free.
Oh and the price of diesel here in NC just jumped from $1.97 to $2.15 since
yesterday. What's up with that?????
Nick
Just bought a few gallons of B100, so I am now running about B25. Cost was
$3.24 /gal. Don't think it is going to be more than occasional "additive"
unless I either suddenly get 60mpg, or it gets more cost competitive with
#2 at $2.17. that is for Phoenix, AZ
