I can see that some of you do not understand what I was saying.

Hmmmmmmmm...maybe I'll just go back to the big honkin' blocking diodes and
LED's (Mark the Miser)....or a cheapie $10 multimeter and a 4P switch like
Hagar... Was it Val who used Hall-Effect sensors in the past? (I forget)
Mike in NB, Canada

4P switch ? ---- no sw , just two ring lugs across Fuseblock.

Testing with Multimeter ? I used an AVOMETER 8 MK III on the
50 microamp setting. That was to find a bad plug or make sure all work.

Continuous monitoring ? .--- The best way.? -----a shunt and a meter .
Adjust shunt for full scale with 4 plugs working. If you see half scale
reading ? ---simple two plugs are missing and so on.

All mine are dumpster moving coil meters. ---will a simple auto ammeter work ?
I do not know ----but try one.

Note that a superlean Rabbit like Bondo does not start as well as a super rich Rabbit ---when it gets really frosty.

It is Hoar frost this morning 10 F ---the bananas got to be defrosted.

50 seconds preheat then start. ----and she does.

Hagar.

PS : I do know that if all plugs are gone the simple auto ammeter will work.
