Now that were all wearing GP's as earrings I guess its time
to move on...
Except for a query I have with regards their power supply...
Operating voltage of cars varies so much both load wise and
between cars (i.e.) Voltage based on alternator output which
varies quite a bit; and is also dependant on the battery
response.
I've seen batteries charging at over 14 volts and then there
are those that never see the far side of 13+.
Apart from the regulated output for some of the instruments;
all the light bulbs, heaters AND glowplugs see this...
Just like some cars blow bulbs more than others; could this
be a link to plug failure also?
PADS
For my last Ministry of Transport test I renewed my front
brake pads as the others were down to the last mm or so.
Brake efficiency with these pads is crap compared to the
previous set. I changed them in October and although I'm
used to them there is no way that they are like the last
lot. Disks were worn but no significant grooving.
Is this common?
