[Vwdiesel] Any issues - late model "autos"

As long as the timing belt is changed and the oil changed regularly 
there should not be any issues.  Be aware that these later cars have a 
lot more electronics.  For example, the key on our 02 is encoded.  If 
it gets damaged, wet, the battery goes dead- we are screwed, you walk 
home.  You need a book to do anything, these are not intended to be 
user serviced so there are limits to what you may want to work on.  A 
far cry from 1986.
