[Vwdiesel] Ran out of fuel?-what to do?

>From what I understand, you're going to need a MightyVac or something
similar to pull a vacuum on you're fuel lines.  Fill up first of course.
That's probably the best course of action ( and much easier on you're fuel
pump, I wouldn't want to run that dry ).  If you're truly desperate, fill up
the fuel filter, put some more in the tank and go for it.   You'll find out
how good the battery is !
