[Vwdiesel] Parts interchangeability A2's ??

Have an 86 Golf 4 door, 5 sp, 1.6L NA coming out of the shop on (I think)
Tuesday.
Still a few bugs to work out.
-Doors
-window winders
-door handles
-heater core (but have a 'probably good one' coming)
-tach/alternator setup
-reverse light <tranny> switch
-trunk (hatchback) latch./lock
-other stuff I don't yet know about

Are all these parts interchangeable with a b at stardized 88 1.6L TD Jetta
engine on a 91 gasser body with various 88 Jetta body parts on it. (LOL,
what a frankenstein)

My nephew bought my old 88 Jetta TD and graphted it onto a 91 or 92 gasser
body, took some body panels and doors off the 88, then proceeded to roll his
"new" Frankenjetta.
