[Vwdiesel] heater core removal 86 Golf (help)

OK, the "new" heater core should be here any day now, and I am picking up my
new-to-me 86 Golf in a couple days.
I know the heater core is leaking as it's very "misty/smoggy/smokey" in the
car when the heater is running.
What's the quickest way to get @ the heater core.  I am not scared to use a
dremel, hacksaw, axe, sledgehammer and
duct tape stuff back together.

I need to know WHERE the heater core is physically located and how to get at
it.
