  But...  10% gasoline will get you well below zero F.  20% #1 (and I'd guess 

pretty close to the same for Kerosene) will get you down about to zero F.  
20% gas will get you as low as I've been in which is almost -40F.  I've seen 
straight #1 at that temp that I wouldn't trust to keep me going full speed 
without cloging things up.  That's talking 100% there.  ;-)  Also if you're 
frozen up, a gallon of gas in a full tank puts you right back on the road, 
IF you're still idling AND you have room in the tank, you'll have to let it 
idle a while for the kerosene or #1 to mix.  I've always found that temps 
never suddenly drop until the morning after you filled the tank full.  :-P
You can always throw in a pint of 2 cycle and not worry about the 
lubricity.  :-)
