[Vwdiesel] insulating you're fuel filter

  Sandy mentioned the bubbles and that reminded me.  When I first had the 
Rabbit, it was the FIRST vehicle on the place to freeze up.  At 20F to 24F 
it'd 
grind to an idle.  Way too warm even on straight #2.  I got to checking 
things 
and found the hose clamp holding the line-to-fuel filter hose to the fuel 
line, 
was loose.  I've found it tends to be loose on most that I've checked.  I 
tightened that down and gained about 20F and a gob of power!  :-)  Had 
more power than it'd ever had.  Bubbles, fine in the bath but not in that 
clear line between the filter and the pump.
