Sandy mentioned the bubbles and that reminded me. When I first had the
Rabbit, it was the FIRST vehicle on the place to freeze up. At 20F to 24F
it'd
grind to an idle. Way too warm even on straight #2. I got to checking
things
and found the hose clamp holding the line-to-fuel filter hose to the fuel
line,
was loose. I've found it tends to be loose on most that I've checked. I
tightened that down and gained about 20F and a gob of power! :-) Had
more power than it'd ever had. Bubbles, fine in the bath but not in that
clear line between the filter and the pump.
