[Vwdiesel] What is the candle wax GP extraction trick ?

Candle wax applied when the cyl head is warm. It'll melt and creep it's
way inward. Do for several days.
Instead of WD-40 (detergent and fishoil), consider PB-Blaster or
the Liquid Wrench penetrating oil. Lighter oil. Still with
detergent (as a wetting agent).
I'd do the extraction with the cyl head at a temp that makes it
easy for you to work carefully. The differing coefficients of
expansion (for the different metals) will not be a big deal.
Avoid real cold (0F) as metals in tools become brittle.
