[Vwdiesel] garrett turbo disassembly complete

Rebuild and cartridge prices seem to vary quite a bit.  I've seen
rebuilds down in the area you mention.  Cartridge prices start there.
I'm guessing that the rebuild consists of installing new bearings (a <
$100 kit) and rebalancing ($20-$50).  A cartridge is presumably the same
thing, except they rebuild someone else's dead turbo, and trade it for
mine :)

Either of those options is a lot more efficient than fooling with it
myself, but I may be unable to resist...
