Agreed, same thing with headlights.  Adding a relay harness to take the high 
current switching load off the headlight switch is 
a good thing as well.  Anything you can do to make the factory parts last 
longer and work better will save money and trouble in 
the long run:


  Agreed.  It would just cure that little nagging feeling to first find out 
WHY 
or where the problem is first though.  If it's a problem with high current, 
it 
could easily become a problem again with low current in time.  Somethimes 
I just tend to get paranoid about potential, known problems.  ;-)
