[Vwdiesel] Starting problems confusing

Sometimes the circuit testing can get a little confusing when
looking for voltage drops. They only show up when current is flowing
and not when there is an actual break say wire powered up but
disconnected at starter (to prevent starter spinning) So you have to
be actually starting for it to show up.
There is of course a theory that the more relays you have powering
bigger relays and so on the more likely there is going to be a
failure. As far as I can see {and I may be myopic at times;o) } The
longevity /reliability of the ignition switch is down to it being a
sliding contact rather than a sprung open and shut case....I'm sure
I read somewhere that a surfeit of keys on the car key bunch is not
good for the switch....
Just counted mine: 15 keys 3 pictorial key fobs and 8 key rings
'uck!... Never lost/ dropped them without missing that bulge in my
pants/trousers or hearing them clatter to the ground!!
