Nothing gives Hagar more pleasure than to write about "Horsepower" -----what magnificent
creature those  Clydesdales were ?  -----so gentle and strong and I do mean STRONG.
And NO HORSE in the world was more admired and pampered and groomed and fed better than
the Carlsberg  ---teams of Copenhagen in 19 46 or there abouts.--NEVER did they feel the
crack of a whip ---that is for sure ---they did not have to race anywhere ----and there
was NO HILLS. ----I wish they could put on a show at the Calgary
Stampede. ---High-stepping and Happy Horses say I.----- NO heavy plow to pull ALL
day. -----just a wagon with a few barrels of BEER. ----and a gentle driver.

I Hagar get serious attacks of HOMESICKNESS when I think of those teams in my wonderful
home town.----they did not need to be told where to go ---They knew.---they automatically
stopped at all the little watering holes ----   downtown    ----how do I know ?  ----well
I know. ----I watched the driver one day ----and he was no way near the wagon.---they
stopped.

As exciting as a Calgary  Chuckwagen ?    ---no but a lot nicer to the Horses. and I have
seen both.

PS:   I do LOVE horses all kinds big and small ----BUT especially those CLYDESDALES.
