[Vwdiesel] VW diesel into Subaru wagon?

I know there are a lot of blasphemers out there putting Subaru engines into 
vanagons.  I'm interested in a little revenge.  :-)  How about a vw TD into a 
subaru wagon?  A friend is parting with his soobie for $500.  I'm interested in 
a wagon body, and the 4wd option is really appealing for my wife.  Anyone 
know of a commercial adapter plate available?
