[Vwdiesel] Golf tire sizes

I have 205/60/R14 on my 91 jetta. They seem to handle great but if the
suspension has to move full travel then rub just a little on the fenders.

I checked the plate on the door frame for the specified tires for my 86 Golf

. VW says to use two different size tires.

Front 155/80/R13
Rear   175/70/R13

Does anyone else use different size tires ?

Right now there are 185/65/R14 all the way around.


Any thoughts ?
