[Vwdiesel] Temp flasher

That has been my experience in the past also, however this situation is 
different and so I have posted.  The level is fine.  The coolant mixture is new.  

On my jetta, the sensor in the coolant tank makes the flasher flash when a 
jumper is put between the two wires on the connector.  It is also in the owner's 
manual that the engine temp is fine throughout the swing of the gauge unless 
the flasher is flashing.  Therefore there must be a temp or resistance that 
makes the flasher go independent of the level in the reservior.  If anyone has 
more information in that regard I would appreciate it.
