Glad to hear your ok. When ever something doesn't go exactly your way, just
think of all the fun and money I have spent in the past few months working
out my head/timing/gear/cam/oil pressure/output shaft seals/and cv boot
issues. I prevailed!
So far so good, purring just fine with 1500 miles on it and very little oil
useage. Not like the one quart to every 400 miles consumption before.
Again, glad your ok and that they had insurance. Here in NC we have a ton of
migrant workers from Mexico and a majority of them don't have insurance.

Darn right, you're okay, that's all that matters. With the fender, you can
just carve a new one- it's nothing five gallons of bondo can't fix. I guess
you could get a body shop to do it for you... they are better carvers...
You two guys have to be tied for the 2005 "Tenacious Guy With Sooty Scraped
Knuckles" award. I'm impressed.
I had a similar goofy chain of unfortunate events with a tractor, and a 3406
Cat motor that kept making very loud, very expensive noises on occasion. I
fixed it for the fourth time (as in paid to have it fixed) and watched the
north end of it heading south on a truck. It was back in the shop within
two weeks after making another loud expensive noise for someone else. Some
things are not meant to be you see....

Take care Shalyn...
