Cassie ---- and All  :    I started to go to the Gulf Islands in 1962   and I know the situation.

I stayed mostly at my friends place in Sturdies Bay on Galiano.---- -really nice times.

The Bambrick family  was my home in North Amerika.  ---Eddie Bambrick  ---the Irishman
was one fine man ----Now dead due to cancer.  -----He kissed the Blarney stone ---but it did
not work.

On the west coast of BC ?   ----lots and lots of Petter and Lister gensets------why ?
the fishing fleet and the Gulf Islands.   The rich people in Victoria and Vancouver BC ----
liked the place for the summers.-----so did I.
They had money so Petters and Listers were in.  ----then the BC Hydro put in power
 a lot of those sets are still sitting there.----Rich people do NOT need to sell ?  ---EH ?
and the powerhouse was away from the Cabin ---due to the noise. ---enter
Blackberry runners ---and they do not go to shed any more.------I have a 2 cylinder
Lister Air-cooled Genset here and ----I was told by the dealer that the last engine like that
HR -2   ----was 14 000 dollars Canadian------BUT parts are still available.------Generator ?
50 KVA  3 phase   600 Volts  ----with lots of reconnection wires. Brushless Stamford
with battery charger. ------ I have all papers --Invoices and books  --any takers ?
On trailer ready to be towed.     Made by  Flygt Canada. ----a Swedish Company  ---
yes the float switches --company. ---Those BLUE balls.

Only diesel I ever saw where Oil does NOT get black. -----period.     All Petters and
listers (OLD ones) are worth rebuilding. --IMHO.   In BC you may see the odd  Easthope ?
they are OK.----I rented a small shack from the Easthopes. -----so I know the history.

The son took me for a tour of machineshop in Steveston BC.   ---they were making a diesel
Marine engine called a Hercules.
