  Thing is it doesn't matter what we use in homes our heads etc.  
Measurement is all relative and accuracy is accuracy whatever 
the system.  In most number crunching on measurements, metric 
has the other systems beat hands down, because it was designed 
to be directly related to various forms of measurement.  I use metric 
to crunch and Engilsh to relate.  No harm done.
  Most production machines are both system switchable and 
screw ups are also screw ups.  Make it all metric and people will 
still find ways to mess things up.  Doesn't take dual systems to 
do that!  ;-)
