Yes, with the hyd head and the turbo, you need the larger pump, 36mm.
But unfortunately, the more quality pumps cost $$$. I would stay away
from the Brazilian stuff(Think Cofap)
The last time I bought an oil pump(four years ago) it was $80 for a
German pump.
I just looked at www.autohausaz.com and for an 87 Jetta TD, a
Schadek/Mayle oil pump lists for USD$70, free shipping over $50(don't
know if that applies to you Canucks)
