[Vwdiesel] Vwdiesel] Sorta OT: Diesel Volvo Wagon FS in Victoria, BC

Dad finally ended up transplanting a gas engine into his last Diesel 
Volvo.  One died from a timing belt issue.  The other suffered a poor 
quality engine bore job.  Hard to find a shop that was willing to work 
on it.  Turns out, 35,000 later, that shop really couldn't do it right.  
They seemed to have been a little more variable than the 4-cyl.  
Something about the front cylinder wore weird in relation to the rest of 
them.  Dad might, however, have some decent used parts, if anyone 
wants.  Ended up with a collection of heads, pumps, etc.
