[Vwdiesel] Dead alternator tensioner on 85' Golf diesel

  Feel sorry for you.  I checked because my bearing was bad.  Dealer only 
and $60 or $80.  That's for the pulley on a post for A/C and P/S equipped.
I ended up being able to buy a $6 bearing and shorten the post for alignment 
and all was well. :-)
