Hey,
I want to get my Caddy back on the road. Ideally I
would love to put either a 1.9 TD or a TDI into it. As
for now though I think I would be better off going
with a 1.6TD as I have all or most of the components
of that handy.
What I don't have is a good block. I toasted my block
with a rod going through the side of it. I want to
replace the block, rebuild the engine and get it back
up and running.
I don't care if it needs to be bored out to the next
oversize as I can get that done pretty easily as well
as sourcing the next oversize pistons. That all is
easy. I just need help finding a block.
I'm near Baltimore and can arrange light freight
shipping (truck) delivery or pick up at a train depot
to save on shipping costs if that helps. Also local
pickup would be an option and I could drive about 3
hours in any direction for one if you have one
locally.
Please help me out before my wife kills me for having
this thing in the garage any longer!!!!
Thanks,
Mikey
