  Not to mention the fact that the claim is that a molecule that has almost 
3X the mass of "air" somehow manages to make it from ground level to 
the upermost region of the atmosphere.  (I'm just talking about the 
Cl ion even, not even the whole Cl2Fl2CH4 molecule).
  I was told by a commercial refirgeration man that the amazing thing 
about R-12 is that it's nearly as efficient as Amonia, which is the most 
efficient (at least for practical products) refrigerant available. Only 
problem with Amonia is that it's abrasive.
