My neighbor had a 86 Ford Ranger 4x4 with little 4
banger gas, car berated motor.  You could not kill
that thing.  It was his work truck, loaded with stuff
in back under cab.  I think he sold it with 150K on it
or more.  Most he ever did to it was put in a steering
rack.  He would not start it for weeks on end and it
would fire up every time.
