[Vwdiesel] Front Wheel grind?DIAGNOSE

Beats me. But potholes DO take a toll on wheel bearings. Normally
you'd see handling issues, and LOTS of noise. The rubbery smell makes me
think that there might be some CV joint involvement. No heat rules out
brakes.
An annoying thing is when pieces of rotor flake off at the rims, and get
caught in the pad area. Noise, and some grinding, but naturally, no heat.
And it doesn't feel like popping out of reverse.
A few common problems, but no Dx.
