  First I'd have said the injector pump was 180 off.  Then I would say 
it's likely the lifters weren't pumped up so the cylinders weren't filling 
or you had a bad ground or such and the engine was turning over slowly.
  After your leak down... Were the seats and valves ground?  If so then
were the stem lengths adjusted, if necessary so that the valve wouldn't
be sitting open just due to being too long overall.
  Leaking out the other injector holes tells you all the valves are sitting 
open.  Ony two ways I know of for that to happen.  Stem length too 
long or bent valves.  Possibly wrong lifters???
  Just use locking nuts and loosen up the cam bearings!  ;-D
