[Vwdiesel] Coolant tank cleaning

Soapy water and a bottle brush...
What's simple green? Didn't they make a film about that?

Or was it Solent Green ;^)

Radiator/cooling system cleaner works fairly well on the
vehicle.  Or pull the tank off and fill with bleach and
water and let
sit for while.  I clean out the coolant tank on my bandsaw
like this every year of so.  Starts out with an oily dark
stain and
end up nearly white afterwards.
