Yes they do. So instead of running it on five dollar bills I could run it on
ten dollar bills cut in half. It would still need to be fed lots of money
to run.
Last time I ran that plant it was consuming 3-1/2 gallons IMP of gasoline an
hour to make the nameplate load. That's almost sixteen litres an hour! I
seem to recall that it would cost about $300.00 a day to run that bugger
just for fuel. Not an option for home emergency use IMO.
