yes. weld a bead on the inner side of the outer piece of the bearing that is
seized to the spindle. it will fall out after. You could hammer it out with
a soft drift, much more fun and entertaining than having it fall out after
welding a bead around the inside. :-)

The absolute, safe and preferred method is an oxy-acetylene torch.
Fast, and quick.  I can't say why I even tried the other methods, except
dumb curiosity.


  One more to try if you get curious.  I wonder about running a bead of
arc weld down the inside-to-outside length of it?  I've heard of doing that
for certain things and then they just fall off nearly.  Just a thought.
