[Vwdiesel] Caddy spare tire

Spare should be on a drop-down hanger behind the fuel tank under the
bed. They are horseshoe shaped tubular steel that just hinges down when
a bolt is removed.
A good rear bumper is hard to find.  You might watch ebay or try a WTB
post on VWDiesel Parts forum.  There are some after market step bumpers
around also- not new, just were once available.  Good luck!

Hi all,

  I bought a Rabbit truck a few months ago and I
recently took off the cap on the back.  I have the
spare tire standing up in the corner of the bed behind
the passenger seat.  Where was the spare tire located
originally on the truck.  

  Also, does anyone know where I might get a rear
bumper for mine. Mine isn't in great shape.
