[Vwdiesel] salvage yard run

Well I just got back from the yard. I was able to pull one 1985 turbo head
with KKK turbo. Got the IP and the Alternator and Vacuum pump as well, and
all that is with the head, injectors and such. Looks like someone already
got the relays. I also found two more diesels. One other 85 Jetta NA and an
86 NA golf. I got those started to remove the head. So another trip and that
will be off. I found a car with the key in the trunk and took that and put
the stuff I was able to pull in there. The all you can carry for $40 is next
Sat. This Saturday they are closed for the Memorial Day holiday. One
question on the head bolts. I know what I need to pull the 12mm ones like on
my 91 but what do I need to pull the earlier ones like on the 85's and 86. I
didn't take the valve cover off to look at them and the one head I got today
someone already had it off but couldn't get it the rest of the way due to
the oil return line still hooked up so it looks like they just quit and left
it there. Lucky Me.!  Are the 11mm head bolts the same with a 12 point
torq's or what?  I will need to get what ever it is to pull those head bolts
with on my next trip out there next week.
